What’s HDPE Geomembrane?  

Lianyi® HDPE Geomembrane is a new type of geosynthetic material,It is made of high-quality virgin polyethylene resin, with the main component being 98% high-density polyethylene, approximately 2% carbon black, anti-aging agents, antioxidants, ultraviolet absorbers, stabilizers and other auxiliary materials. It is produced by the most advanced fully automatic production equipment in the world through three-layer co-extrusion technology. All products are manufactured in accordance with GM13 standards and ASTM testing standards. They come in a complete range of specifications, with smooth surface thickness ranging from 0.2mm to 3.0mm and width from 2 to 8m, meeting the application requirements of water conservancy, construction, municipal engineering, gardens, landscapes, petrochemicals, mining, agriculture, aquaculture and other industries.

Features Of HDPE Geomembrane

*High anti-seepage coefficient 

HDPE geomembrane has an anti-seepage effect that is unmatched by ordinary waterproof materials. The water vapor permeability system is k≤1.0*10-13g.cm/cm2.s.pa

*Chemical stability

HDPE geomembrane has excellent chemical stability and is widely used in sewage treatment, chemical reaction tanks and landfill sites. It is resistant to high and low temperatures, asphalt, oil, tar, and over 80 kinds of strong acid and strong alkali chemical media such as acids, alkalis and salts

*Aging resistance

HDPE geomembrane has excellent anti-aging, anti-ultraviolet and anti-decomposition capabilities. It can be used exposed and has a service life of up to 50 to 70 years, providing a good material guarantee for environmental anti-seepage

*Resistant to plant roots

HDPE geomembrane has excellent puncture resistance and can resist the roots of most plants

*High mechanical strength

HDPE geomembrane has excellent mechanical strength, superior elasticity and deformation capacity, making it highly suitable for expanding or contracting base surfaces. It can effectively overcome uneven settlement of the base surface. The tensile strength at break is 28 mpa, and the elongation at break is 700%

*Good economic efficiency

HDPE geomembrane has enhanced its anti-seepage effect by adopting new technologies. However, its production process is more scientific and rapid, and the product cost is lower than that of traditional waterproof materials. According to actual measurements, projects using HDPE geomembrane can save about 50% of the cost
