Lianyi® Steel-plastic composite geogrid is made by specially treating high strength steel wires, combining them with polyethylene and adding other additives, and extruding them to form composite high-strength tensile strips,and the surface has a rough texture, it is called a high strength reinforced geogrid. This single band is woven or interlaced at certain intervals in the longitudinal and transverse directions and welded by ultrasonic waves. Due to the product surface being rolled into regular patterns, when laid in the replacement fill soil layer, it bears huge stress resistance and friction with the fill soil. As a whole, it limits the shearing, side extrusion and uplift of the foundation soil. Because the stiffness of the reinforced soil cushion layer is relatively large, it is conducive to the diffusion and more uniform transmission of the upper foundation load to the lower soft soil layer, effectively improving the bearing capacity of the foundation Due to the effect of the reinforced soil cushion layer, the overall stiffness of the foundation within the compression layer range is increased, which is conducive to adjusting the deformation of the foundation. The reinforced soil composite cushion layer formed by using steel plastic composite geogrid is a flexible structure that can absorb the energy of earthquakes very well, so its seismic performance is good.
