What’s Asphalt Geogrid?  

Lianyi® Asphalt Geogrid is a new type of geosynthetic specially designed for asphalt road reinforcement and prevent reflective cracking of asphalt pavement. Asphalt Reinforcement Geogrid has three types,the first one is fiberglass geogrid and self adhesive fiberglass geogrid,the second one is fiberglass geocomposite made by fiberglass geogrid glued or stitched with PET or PP nonwoven geotextile,the third one is polyester geogrid glued or stitched with PET or PP nonwoven geotextile.

1.Fiberglass Geogrid is made of fiberglass roving by warp knitting with bitumen coating.

2.Self Adhesive Fiberglass Geogrid is made of fiberglass roving by warp knitting with bitumen coating,self adhesive on one side.

3.Fiberglass Geocomposite is which consists of fiberglass geogrid stitched with PET or PP nonwoven geotextile with bituminous coating.

4.Fiberglass Geocomposite  is made of high strength fiberglass yarns withouting coating stitched with PET or PP nonwoven geotextile.

5.Polyester Geocomposite is which consists of polyester geogrid stitched with PET or PP nonwoven geotextile with bituminous coating.

6.Polyester Geocomposite is made of high modulus polyester yarns withouting coating stitched with PET or PP nonwoven geotextile.

Asphalt Fiberglass GeogridFeatures

High strength and low elongation: It has a very high tensile strength in both the warp and weft directions, a low elongation, and can effectively withstand external forces, reducing deformation.

Stable performance: It features excellent properties such as high-temperature resistance, low-temperature resistance, anti-aging, and corrosion resistance, and can adapt to various complex environments.

Easy construction: Light in weight, with certain flexibility, it is easy to cut and connect on site, can be overlapped and lapped, and does not require special construction machinery or professional technicians.

Slow down reflective cracks: It can suppress stress and release strain. As a hard interlayer with high rigidity, it enhances the tensile and shear resistance of the overlay structure and reduces cracks.

Anti-fatigue cracking: A buffer zone is formed between the stressed areas, allowing the stress to gradually change, reducing the damage caused by sudden stress changes to the asphalt overlay layer. At the same time, the low elongation rate reduces the deflection of the pavement.

High-temperature rutting resistance: It plays a skeletal role in the asphalt surface layer, forming a composite mechanical interlocking system, restricting the movement of aggregates, preventing the asphalt surface layer from pushing, and resisting rutting.

Resistance to low-temperature shrinkage cracking: Enhance the tensile strength of asphalt concrete, resist tensile stress, and even if local cracks occur, the stress can be gradually eliminated through it, preventing the cracks from developing into cracks.

It reinforces old asphalt concrete road surface and asphalt layer, and prevents damage

It is used for rebuilding cement concrete road surface into composite road surface and restraining reflection caused by block contraction

It is used in road expansion and improvement project and crack caused by old and new combination position and uneven sedimentation

It is used in soft soil base reinforcement treatment ,is favorable for soft soil water separation and concretion,restrains sedimentation effectively,distributes stress uniformly and improve overall strength of road base

It is sued for preventing contraction crack caused by new road semi-rigid base layer,and reinforces and prevents road surface crack caused by foundation crack reflection
