What’s Composite Geomembrane? 

Lianyi® Composite Geomembrane is a popular geosynthetic material made by calendering and hot melting two or more materials, namely geotextile (long fiber needle punched non woven geotextile , short fiber needle punched non woven geotextile,woven geotextile,etc.) and high molecular materials (HDPE geomembrane, LDPE geomembrane, EVA geomembrane, etc.).

Features Of Composite Geomembrane 

Composite geomembrane uses geotextile instead of granular materials as the protective layer of the geomembrane to protect the anti-seepage layer of the geomembrane from damage, reduce the gradation requirements of the cushion layer particle size, and also play a drainage role

The composite geomembrane has a large friction coefficient, which can prevent the sliding of the covering layer. Compared with the simple HDPE film, the non-woven fabric in the composite geomembrane has a larger friction coefficient. The composite geomembrane can increase the slope ratio and reduce the occupied area

The mechanical strength of the composite geomembrane, such as tensile, tear, puncture and puncture resistance, is high

Composite geomembrane has a certain degree of deformation, and the stress transmission and dispersion caused by the concave-convex defects of the base layer are relatively fast, so it should have a strong capacity

The pore pressure and buoyancy force on the contact surface between the composite geomembrane and the soil are easy to dissipate
