Composite Geomembrane Construction Precautions
*It should be used in an embedded manner, and the covering thickness should not be less than 30cm
*The entire anti-seepage system should have: The responsibility lies with the base layer, anti-seepage layer, transition layer and protective layer
*The soil should be solid to avoid uneven settlement and cracks. The turf and tree roots within the anti-seepage range should be removed. A protective layer of fine-grained sand or clay is laid on the surface in contact with the geomembrane。
*When laying the composite geomembrane , do not pull it too tight. It is better for the parts buried in the soil at both ends to be in a wavy shape. Especially when anchoring with rigid materials, a certain amount of expansion and contraction should be left
*During construction, it is necessary to avoid direct impact of stones and heavy objects on the composite geomembrane. It is best to lay the geomembrane and cover the protective layer simultaneously during construction
The laying of composite geomembrane
*The surface of the composite geomembrane should be cleaned and laid as a whole, without any unevenness or sharp objects such as stones, iron wires or wooden sticks. Herbicides should be sprayed to kill weeds
*The composite geomembrane is best laid in a certain direction. At the same time, it should not be stretched too tightly. A certain allowance should be left to adapt to the deformation of the base
*A certain width of HDPE Geomembrane and HDPE Geomembrane bonding layer should be reserved on both sides of the composite geomembrane. When laying, the direction of each unit of composite geomembrane should be adjusted properly to facilitate the welding of two units of composite geomembrane
*After the composite geomembrane is laid, it should be pressed down with sand belts to prevent wind movement, which may affect the welding of the edge of the composite geomembrane in the next step.
