When installed between the asphalt courses, glass fiber geogrid effectively redirects vertical crack-induced stresses horizontally, disspating them and thereby preserving the integrity of the pavement structure. The grid’s open design promotes aggregate interlock between paving courses, significantly reducing shear potential.
