Introduction
Fiberglass Geogrid Knitted With Non Woven Geotextile is a double-layer composite reinforcement material engineered to enhance and extend pavement performance and service lives. It’s consists of a fiberglass geogrid with bitumen impregnation and an ultrathin polypropylene non woven substrate featuring bitumen dispersion.
Fiberglass geocomposite has a square or orthogonal cellular structure with high strength, stitched knots that utilize a special yarn. The fiberglass geocomposite can be produced with different mesh size from 12 to 50mm and in standard tensile strength from 30 to 300kN/m.Roll width from 1 to 5.4m,giving users options to minimize waste on site and achieve the most efficient installations.
Properties Of Fiberglass Geogrid Knitted With Non Woven Geotextile
*High tensile strength and low strain
*High resistance to chemical, biological and thermal effects
*Straightforward installation use to non woven backing
Advantages Of Fiberglass Geogrid Knitted With Nonwoven Geotextile
*Reinforcement
Reinforce the bituminous layer, stopping and controlling the cracking process
*Stress relief
Function provided by a bitumen-saturated paving fabric (non-woven or purpose built composite) which, when is properly installed between a road surface and a new asphalt overlay allows for slight differential movements two layers and thus provides stress relief, which delays or arrests crack propagation in the asphalt overlay
*Interlayer barrier
Function provided by paving fabrics, which act in conjunction with a bitumen layer as a barrier to the ingress of water and thus prevent or delay the deterioration of
the pavement.
Application Of Fiberglass Geogrid Knitted With Nonwoven Geotextile
*Reflective cracking of old road surfaces
*Roadway widening
*Airport runway
*Reinforcement of asphalt concrete layers of roadbase
*Fatigue and reflection cracking restraint
*Reinforcement of sub grade on soft soils
*Layer by layer reinforcement of high roadway embankments
*Reinforcement of roadway sub grade
